Services
Your customized care plan can include one or more of the following
options:
 |
Light Housekeeping |
Vacuuming, dusting, sweeping and mopping floors,
cleaning bathrooms (sinks, showers, tubs and toilet),
cleaning kitchens (sinks, appliances, counters), taking
out the trash, straightening all rooms, organizing closets
and drawers, cleaning interior windows that can be reached
without a ladder. |
|
| |
|
 |
Meal Preparation |
Many seniors, not up to the task of cooking,
neglect to eat well-balanced meals. Our caregivers can
prepare a nutritious meal in coordination with any special
dietary requirements identified by a health care professional. |
|
| |
|
 |
Errands and Shopping |
Caregivers can grocery shop, pick up prescriptions,
go to the post office, and other errands that would
be difficult for clients. |
|
| |
|
 |
Property Maintenance |
Caregivers can take care of routine property maintenance
like lawn care and snow-removal. |
|
| |
|
 |
Personal Hygiene Assistance |
We can help our clients to maintain proper daily
hygiene including bathing, oral hygiene, and dressing.
We can even perform laundry duties in the client's home,
including ironing to make sure that the client maintains
a clean, well-groomed appearance. (A safety evaluation
of the bathroom and dressing area is included in the
in-home care assessment.) |
|

|
 |
Respite Care for Family Members |
We know that most families want to be actively involved
in caring for loved ones. However, this responsibility
can get overwhelming. Family caregivers need time to
rest, take care of their own affairs, and take vacations.
We provide families with the peace of mind that their
loved one is well taken care of in their absence. |
|
| |
|
 |
Medication Reminders |
Although our caregivers do not administer medications,
they can assist individuals who share the responsibility
of taking their own medications. Our caregivers can
assist in opening medication containers or medpaks,
reading labels, and reminding clients when they need
to take medications. |

 |
Care Review Report |
At Home Care strives to keep seniors and their families
well informed with our Care Review Reports. These reports
provide a general impression of how things are going,
identify issues that need to be addressed, answer any
concerns and/or redefine any services that may be needed.
This is a great service for clients whose families live
far away and may not be in daily contact with their
loved one. |
|
| |
|
 |
Positive Companionship |
While our caregivers provide the customized services
needed by our clients, they serve another vital function
as well. Isolation is a very common and unhealthy condition
for seniors living at home. Our caregivers are a source
of companionship, and they are protective of their client's
wellbeing. Families feel more secure knowing that a
caring individual is watching over their loved one.

At Home Care's services provide a unique and powerful care option,
because our in-home support services are:
Customized
A knowledgeable home care professional will coordinate a custom
care plan that really works for you and your family. No cookie-cutter
service for our clients! We recognize that everyone has a unique
set of needs and strengths that must be taken into account when
determining service.
Round-the-Clock
Our client's needs do not always follow a workday schedule. We know
how important it is that services be available 24 hours, 7 days
a week for those requiring constant care or assistance.
Highly Qualified
All of our caregivers are experienced and most of them have backgrounds
in the health care industry. You will find many RN's, LPN's, C NA's,
CHHA's, and MA's in our employee database. You have the opportunity
to choose the caregiver that most fits your requirements.
Secure
There is nothing more important to us than your safety and wellbeing.
Our mission is to take all of the risk out of hiring help in the
home. You can rest assured that all of our employees past work history
has been scrutinized and that they have been thoroughly screened
for criminal records and drug usage.
